Austin 2008

In November I went with a delegation of 11 other improvisers from Unexpected Productions to Austin, Texas to work as booth-monkeys for Microsoft at a convention.

There we bartered our dignity away for ridiculous astroturf golf costumes and gave away free swag (hats and golf balls) in attempts to get people interested in the Microsoft booth.

We did this in exchange for a free, expenses-paid (including meals) trip with each other, and a stipend to boot. Ultimately it was worth it and a great time, although working that floor was definitely a bear!
