Queens Blvd. 3

Hey, that photo I took earlier that I said looked like the view from my apartment gave me the crazy notion of climbing out onto the fire escape outside my bedroom window and taking a picture of Queens Blvd. from there. Turns out that from the exact angle I'm shooting from, the opposite side of the street is obscured almost entirely by trees. So it's not the terrific idea I originally thought it would be. But at least this gives you a better sense of how freakishly wide Queens Blvd. is. I would've climbed to the top of the fire escape to get a shot from the sixth floor, but while I'm not aware of the law I think I probably wasn't supposed to be out there, and endless episodes of Law and Order have given me pause when it comes to doing the kind of crazy stunts I was prone to back in gun-spurning Canada.
